Total time:
Serves: 24
  • 1 lb. venison sausage
  • 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup white cheddar cheese
  • 1½ cups of Bisquick
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • ½ cup finely chopped mushrooms
  • ¼ cup finely chopped onion
  • ½ cup half-n-half
  1. Brown and drain sausage. Set aside to cool.
  2. Combine cheese, Bisquick, red pepper, mushrooms, onion.
  3. Mix in sausage.
  4. Add half-n-half until moist.
  5. Roll into 2 inch balls and place on parchment paper or greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
  7. Serve with a dipping sauce.
I used Betty Crockers hot mustard sauce recipe to dip the venison sausage balls.
If you would like a bit more heat to your venison sausage balls increase the hot pepper flakes to 2 tsp.
