Easter Pretzel Rods

Easter Pretzel Rods

My Easter Pretzel Rods are a fun Easter candy recipe that kids love to make and eat.  They can be made with all kinds of different candy. Use your imagination and have some fun. They can also be wrapped individually and given as Easter gifts, too.

  • Utz Pretzel rods
  • Bag of Caramels
  • Bag of M&M’s
  • Melting cocoa chocolates
  • Melting white chocolates

  1. Unwrap caramel and melt down on a low heat.
  2. Place M&M’s in a bowl that will be easy to dip pretzel into.
  3. Dip pretzel in caramel letting excess drain off back into melting pot leaving enough room on pretzel to hold it.
  4. Dip into M&M’s and coat pretzel.
  5. Let dry on wax paper or parchment paper.
  6. Melt cocoa chocolate on low heat in heavy saucepan and drizzle over pretzel.
  7. Let dry.
  8. Melt white chocolate over low heat in heavy saucepan and drizzle over pretzel.
  9. Let dry.
