I love goat cheese so creating goat cheese appetizers was a dream come true. And good, too! The creaminess of the goat cheese combined with the sweet fig jam and the crunch of the crustini sent my taste buds over the top.
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- Slice french bread into 1/2″ pieces and place on baking sheet.
- Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper.
- Bake until golden brown.
- Slice onions and saute in butter until carmelized.
- Spread a layer of goat cheese over baked bread, then add a layer of onion, then about a tablespoon of fig jam on top of that.
